People are invited to celebrate community spirit and local pride at a fun day celebrating an area of Wolverhampton.
The Bilston Neighbourhood Day will take place on Friday between 12:00 and 18:00 BST on Bert Turner Boulevard, where there will be a small funfair, inflatables, roaming performers, live music, interactive games and a DJ.
From 16:00 BST, local schools will take centre stage in a talent contest, with audience members voting for the winner, and the winning school receiving a prize.
Later in the evening, visitors can test their local knowledge at a free-to-attend "Bostin' Bilston Quiz", taking place at Bilston Town Hall from 19:30 BST.
Other events will take place over the weekend, including an Our Bilston schools exhibition at Bilston Library, the Bluebird Belles performing at Bilston Town Hall, a beer festival at The Sir Henry Newbold pub, and karaoke discos at numerous venues.
Councillor Chris Burden said: "Bilston is a proud and resilient community with a rich history and a bright future.
"It's a fantastic opportunity to foster community spirit and pride, as well as showcasing local talent."
Bilston Neighbourhood Day is part of the wider government-backed Plans for Neighbourhoods Programme, which aims to improve public spaces and strengthen communities.
