Murder charge over 76-year-old man's death

A man has been charged with murder after a 76-year-old man died in Birmingham.
Alvin Callum died after he was found in a serious condition on Birchfield Road, Perry Barr, at about 21:50 BST on Thursday.
An investigation established that Mr Callum was assaulted earlier near the train station, West Midlands Police said.
Omajuwa Scarlett, 30, of Nash Square, Perry Barr, is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Monday charged with Mr Callum's murder.
