Development of more than 750 homes completed

Woodhurst Park, a development of 788 homes, has now been completed

A development of more than 788 homes has been finished 10 years after work began.

Woodhurst Park, in Warfield, north of Bracknell has been built by the Berkeley Group and includes 115 affordable homes.

The final property is due to be handed over this month.

Elkie Russell from Berkeley Homes said: "We're incredibly proud of what's been achieved here and of the community that has grown alongside the homes and open spaces."

Residents at Woodhurst Park are within walking distance of a nature park created as part of the development. There are also allotments.

A new campus for the local primary School opened in 2016 and there is a 65-bed assisted living facility.

Ms Russell said: "We set out to create a place where people would want to live for the long term, where children can grow up surrounded by nature, and where neighbours feel connected."
