Police will remain on scene over the weekend at a property where chemicals were discovered.
The substances, along with other items found at The Wolds in Waddingham, Lincolnshire, were disposed of in a controlled explosion near Faldingworth on Thursday night.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of manufacturing a weapon, device or ammunition, and making an explosive substance. He has been released on bail.
Lincolnshire Police said they were still investigating why the chemicals and materials were there but added the incident was not terrorism-related.
A number of homes in the area were evacuated on Thursday lunchtime, with residents taken to the local village hall.
The 100m (328ft) cordon that was put in place was removed at about 21:15 BST.
A spokesperson for the force said: "We are very grateful for the cooperation of those residents who were disrupted and displaced."
