A motorcyclist has been killed after a crash with a grey Porsche 911.

Emergency services were called to the A1307 near Swavesey in Cambridgeshire at about 17:15 BST on Friday.

The rider of a red Honda motorcycle, a man in his 30s, died at the scene and a 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Police appealed for more information from motorists who were in the area at the time.

The driver of the Porsche, who is from Cambridgeshire, has since been released on bail to return to Parkside police station in Cambridge on 24 November.

Det Sgt Craig Wheeler said: "My thoughts are with the friends and family of the victim during this tragic time.

"I would like to appeal to any motorists that were in the area at the time and may have seen either vehicle prior to the collision to get in touch, particularly if you have any dashcam footage available."
