Three arrests after man dies in crash

Three men have been arrested after a man died in a crash in Worcestershire.

The single-car crash happened on Saturday at about 05:30 BST in Evesham, on the A46 near the junction with Badsey Road.

Emergency services attended and a 39-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

West Mercia Police said three men, aged 29, 34, and 36 were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving under the influence.

All three remain in police custody as inquiries continue, with police launching an appeal for witnesses and people with relevant dashcam footage.

A police spokesperson said: "The incident involved a black BMW 330 D Sport, which left the road before colliding with a hedgerow."
