A man has been arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure following an incident in a bus station toilet.

A report was made to Leicestershire Police of a man exposing himself in the public conveniences at St Margaret's Bus Station in Leicester at about 18:00 BST on 26 July.

Investigations led officers to issue an appeal including a CCTV image on Wednesday.

A 43-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and remains in police custody, said the force.

Police thanked people who responded to their appeal, adding anyone with information yet to make contact should come forward.
