A lorry has pulled live electricity cables out of a house causing a power cut, a police force has said.
Cambridgeshire Police said Somersham High Street had been closed between Church Street and Feoffees Road and has asked people to avoid the area.
UK Power Networks said it was aware of the incident at about 05:40 BST and engineers were on site and investigating.
It said an overhead cable was found lying on the ground due to a "road traffic collision".
The company said its engineers had diverted "electricity around the faulty part of the network, restoring power to some customers".
UK Power Networks said: "Power was restored to 79 customers at 8.45am and engineers are now working to complete a repair and restore power to the remaining five customers as soon as possible."
Power was due to be restored by 11:30 but it is now expected to be back on between between 14:30 and 15:30.
It said the delay was due to needing extra staff "to help with the ongoing repairs to the overhead cables laying on the ground due to a road traffic collision".
A police spokeswoman said: "We were called at 5.30am this morning with reports of a HGV having pulled live cables out of a house in High Street, Somersham."
