Human remains have been found in a garden in south-east London, the Metropolitan Police have said.

On 12 April, police were called at 14:08 (BST) to Church Grove, in Lewisham, after the remains were unearthed. A crime scene is still in place.

Officers are working to establish an identity, although the remains are thought to be non-recent, the Met said.

There have been no arrests and inquiries are ongoing.
