Appeal after biker dies in three-vehicle crash

A man in his 50s died at the scene of the crash on Edlington Lane

A motorcyclist has died, after three vehicles crashed near Doncaster.

South Yorkshire Police officers were called to Edlington Lane, Edlington, at 11:33 BST on Saturday.

Despite medical treatment, a man in his 50s, who was riding a motorbike, died at the scene.

The force has asked for witnesses to the crash, which also involved a black Ford Focus and a black Toyota Yaris, to come forward.
