A second person has been charged after a man was stabbed multiple times outside a shop in Nottinghamshire.
A man in his 30s suffered serious injuries and spent two weeks in hospital following a knife attack near Co-op in Westdale Lane, Carlton, at about 22:30 BST on Tuesday 6 May.
Paige Tomlinson, 34, of Jessops Lane in Gedling, has been charged with conspiracy to commit kidnap and two counts of perverting the course of justice.
Previously, Simon McHugh, of Harrogate Road in Carlton, was charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
The 46-year-old was also charged with burglary and theft of a motor vehicle after a car and keys were stolen from an address in Burton Joyce following the incident in Carlton.
Mr McHugh was further charged with six separate offences relating to incidents in Derbyshire on 5 May including two counts of false imprisonment, assault by beating, possession of a blade in a public place and two counts of making threats to kill.
He remains in custody awaiting court proceedings, according to Nottinghamshire Police.
Ms Tomlinson is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court later.
Det Con Gemma Patterson said: "These are serious matters and I hope our response in locating, arresting, and charging these suspects provides reassurance to the victim and wider community."
