The Sharratt family is looking forward to the holiday

A Worcestershire family has said it was "amazing" to be recognised for their fundraising work on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.

The Sharratt family was included in the ITV show's "happiest minute of the week" which celebrates people who have helped others.

Saturday's show was different than usual as all 411 members of the audience received recognition for fundraising and charity work by being given a holiday.

The Bromsgrove family set up a charity in memory of Libby Mae Sharratt, who died of a heart condition in 2013, aged only two weeks old.

Libby Mae's Little Angels was set up in memory of their daughter.

It helps fund medical equipment needed to look after babies on neonatal units, including ventilators and incubators, across the Midlands.

Since its formation, the charity has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds.

"We do not like to put ourselves on a pedestal - we do not do the fundraising for that," Libby's mum Charlotte told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"We do it to keep our daughter's memory alive and to help others.

"We do not do it for any self gain but to be recognised on national television was just amazing."

Charlotte was later informed her family had been nominated by her sister.

Her son Riley, aged nine, said it was "incredible" his family were recognised and picked to be in the audience.

"Getting a Takeaway getaway was the best moment of my life," he said.

"We can not believe it two days on.

"We watch it back and we watch it back and we still just feel like it is so amazing."
