Officers have arrested a total of five people following a fatal stabbing in Wellhead Park

Two more people have been arrested over a fatal stabbing in Bourne, bringing the total number of those questioned to five.

Armed officers were called at about 21:50 BST on Wednesday to Wellhead Park, where a 30-year-old man was fatally injured.

Lincolnshire Police said a 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were being questioned on suspicion of murder.

The force arrested two other men, aged 19 and 20, and a 16-year-old boy on Thursday on the same charge.

In a previous statement, a force spokesperson said the victim, who died at the scene, and those arrested were "known to each other".

Detectives asked people to avoid the area while officers investigated.

A police spokesperson said: "We are now appealing for information as we believe there were multiple witnesses."
