Tanning salon damaged after sunbed catches fire

A tanning salon has been left damaged after a sunbed caught fire.

Firefighters were called to Tan-Fast, on Norwich Road in Ipswich, at 11:30 GMT.

Upon arrival they found a sunbed engulfed in flames on the ground floor of the three-storey building.

Within an hour two crews, from Suffolk Fire Service's Princes Street and Ipswich East stations, had managed to extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported.
