A man in his 20s died and a second man was seriously injured after a crash in the Cotswolds, police have said.

Gloucestershire Police said officers were called to the single-vehicle crash on the B4425 between Aldsworth and Burford at around 22:00 GMT on Tuesday.

They found a Mercedes-Bens SLK which had left the road and a man in his 20s, from West Oxfordshire, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 19-year-old man sustained injuries which are believed to be serious, but not life-threatening, and is being treated in hospital, the force added.
