A woman has been charged with murder after a man his 60s died in hospital.

Essex Police was called to Willingale Road in Loughton at about 22:20 BST on Wednesday after reports of an assault.

A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries and died a day later, the force said.

Georgia Wildman, 30, of Mornington Road in Loughton is expected to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court on Monday.

Essex Police said officers were providing support to the man's family.

A spokesperson added inquiries were ongoing and urged anyone with more information to come forward to help with the investigation.
