Police are investigating the unexplained death of a man in Dundee city centre.

Emergency services attended West Marketgait at about 07:25 after reports a man had been found injured.

Police Scotland confirmed the man, who has not been named, died at the scene.

A spokesperson for the force said the death was being treated as unexplained and inquiries were ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
