Motorcyclist suffers facial injuries in collision

A motorcyclist was treated for facial injuries following a collision with a car on Tuesday evening.
Cambridgeshire Police said officers were called at 19:20 BST with reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a car on Bretton Way, Peterborough, near the Barnstock turning.
Emergency services, which included an ambulance, a rapid response car and an air ambulance, were sent to the scene. The motorcyclist was later taken by ambulance to Peterborough Hospital.
The East of England Ambulance Service said the facial injuries were "not believed to be serious". The road was closed during the incident but has since reopened.
