Police are appealing for information after a man grabbed a baby from her mother's arms on a train.

British Transport Police (BTP) said a man "took off down the carriage" with the child as the train approached Worksop railway station in Nottinghamshire.

The force said "a relative managed to grab the baby back".

It happened at about 19:30 BST on 17 August as the woman was preparing to leave the train with her baby.
