A "large" fire which broke out at a petrol station forecourt in north Devon has been put out by fire crews.
Eight fire stations attended the scene at the Murco petrol station on Station Road in Woolacombe, Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said.
The fire service said the blaze started in a vehicle and spread to the retail shop.
Firefighters confirmed the petrol pumps were unaffected by the fire.
Residents in the area had been asked to keep their windows and doors closed to the smoke.
Police added: "Due to a large fire on Station Road in Woolacombe the roads leading to this location will be closed until further notice."
Fire services said paramedics treated one woman for smoke inhalation.
A spokesman for the fire service said the first floor and the roof were severely damaged, but the laze was contained to the shop.
He said crews remained at the scene dampening down hotspots.
