Stranger asked girl, 11, to get into his car

Police are investigating after a man approached an 11-year-old girl and asked her to get into a car.
The man approached the girl at about 18:10 BST on Monday in Romney Avenue, in Lockleaze, Bristol, Avon and Somerset Police said, and asked her if she wanted to go with him.
He then mentioned getting into a car, although she did not see his vehicle. The child was able to run home unharmed and told a parent who contacted police.
The suspect is described being around 5ft 10ins (155cm) tall and of slim build, wearing dark leggings with pockets and a dark top with its hood pulled up.

He is believed to have left the scene in the direction of Cheswick Village.
Insp Adam Dolling, of Avon and Somerset Police's neighbourhood policing team, said: "This is a worrying incident which is now the subject of a full investigation, and we're also working closely with the victim's school to make sure any necessary safeguarding measures are in place."
He added: "Increased patrols are being carried out in the area and extensive CCTV and house-to-house enquiries are also being conducted.
"We're aware of social media posts surrounding the incident and would urge people who have information and concerns to contact police."
Anyone with any relevant mobile phone, dashcam or doorbell footage is asked to contact police.
