Appeal after boy, 17, dies in motorcycle crash

Police are appealing for information after a 17-year-old died in a crash on Friday

An appeal has been launched after a 17-year-old motorcyclist died in a crash involving a car.

The crash happened on Thornhill Road in Streetly, Walsall, at 11:20 BST on Friday, Staffordshire Police said.

They added a white Yamaha motorbike and a black Audi TT were involved, and that firefighters and ambulance crews attended.

The 17-year-old died at the scene, and police said his next of kin have been informed and were being supported.

The driver of the car remained at the site and assisted officers with their inquiries.

Anyone who saw what happened or who may have footage was urged to contact police.
