The family of a woman who died from serious injuries at her home has paid tribute to a "loving, sensitive and generous" daughter and mother.

Joanne Samak was found at the house in Chestnut Spinney, Droitwich, just after 04:00 BST on Monday.

Mohammed Samak, 42, has been charged with her murder and appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

In a statement, Mrs Samak's family said: "Jo, you are so loved by all your family and friends. Words fail us. We will continue to love and miss you forever.”

They added: "She was so hard working and talented. She was looking forward to so much in her life.

“We are so thankful for Jo and have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and tributes from all who knew her."

Mr Samak remains in custody and is due to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on Monday.

Her cause of death has not yet been revealed by West Mercia Police.
