Boy, 11, seriously injured after being hit by car

The crash happened at about 18:30 GMT on Cambrian Avenue in Gilfach Goch, police say

An 11-year-old boy has suffered life-changing injuries after being hit by a car.

Police were called to Cambrian Avenue in Gilfach Goch, Rhondda Cynon Taf, at about 18:30 GMT on Thursday.

The boy was taken to hospital, the Welsh Ambulance Service said.

South Wales Police has appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to contact the force.
