Man charged with attempted murder after stabbing

A man has been charged with attempted murder, after a man was stabbed in Birmingham.
Police were called to Whitehall Road in Handsworth, where a 64-year-old man was found seriously injured, just after midnight on Thursday.
The victim, who was believed to be known to the alleged attacker, remained in hospital in a stable condition, West Midlands Police said.
Razvan Mut, 33, of no fixed address, has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon and appeared before magistrates in the city on Friday.
