The deaths of two people whose bodies were found at a property in a town centre in Kent are not being treated as suspicious, police say.

Emergency services were called to the building in Sandwich shortly after 10:00 BST on Monday following concerns for two people.

Two people in their 90s were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

“Officers remain at the scene to carry out inquiries as part of a report being prepared for the coroner,” a police spokesman said.
