A man has been jailed for threatening a woman and posting explicit images of her online without her consent.

Ashley Coleman, 28, from Stanground, Peterborough, would contact the victim up to 100 times a day, threatened her and her child, and posted a private video of her on social media, Cambridgeshire Police said.

He was arrested in January and later admitted engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour, disclosing private sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress, and taking a motor vehicle without the owner's consent.

Coleman was sentenced to one year and four months in prison and was handed an indefinite restraining order on Wednesday, at Peterborough Crown Court.

Cambridgeshire Police commended the victim for her bravery in coming forward and supporting the case.
