A pedestrian has been killed on a country road after being hit by a van.
The man, 62, died at the scene in Chilton Road, in the village of Long Crendon, near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, at about 06:00 GMT on Friday, police said.
Thames Valley Police has called for any witnesses to the collision, involving a white Mercedes Sprinter van, to get in contact.
Det Sgt Lyndsey Blackaby, from the force roads policing unit, said she wanted anyone in the area at the time to look at "any dash-cam footage they may have, as it could hold vital information about the collision or the moments leading up to it".
She added her thoughts were with the "loved ones of the man who tragically lost his life in this incident".
The man's next of kin had been told of his death and were being supported by specially trained officers, the force said.
No arrests have been made.
