A family have paid tribute to the "best son, brother, uncle and friend" after a man was killed in a crash involving two cars.

Andrzej Slowicki, 60, from Evesham, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on the B439 Evesham Road at Cranhill near Bidford-on-Avon on the morning of 4 August.

A 28-year-old Audi driver and his 18-year-old passenger were seriously injured and taken to hospital.

Police are still appealing for any witnesses who saw either vehicle leading up to the collision or anyone with dashcam footage.

Mr Slowicki's family thanked Warwickshire Police for their help.

"He will be missed dearly. The whole family hopes he rests in peace," they said.
