Two people have been charged with attempted murder after a man was seriously assaulted in Kent.

The man was taken to a London hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition, Kent Police said.
Leigh Moxam, 32, of Railway Road, Newhaven, in East Sussex, and Donna Green, 44, of no fixed address, have been charged with attempted murder and will appear at Canterbury Crown Court on 13 January.
The pair are thought by police to be known to the victim.
Mr Moxam has also been charged with criminal damage, two counts of possession of a bladed article in a public place, and three counts of assault on an emergency worker, while Ms Green also faces a charge of possession of a bladed article in a public place.
