Firefighters rescued a young girl who accidentally locked herself in a car while the keys were still in it.

Crews from Harlow, in Essex, were called to Cannons Lane in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire, at 17:04 BST on Tuesday.

They used tools to get inside the car and rescue the child, Isabella, by 17:31.

An Essex County Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Always keep car keys out of reach of little hands. It only takes a second for them to press a button and get stuck inside."
