Multi-vehicle crash partially closed M1

The M1 northbound was partially closed after a crash involving multiple vehicles, which caused a fuel spillage.
National Highways said two out of four lanes were closed between junction 12 for Toddington and junction 13 for Brogborough, Bedfordshire, at about 07:50 GMT.
Bedfordshire fire crews, police and an ambulance were at the scene.
Drivers were warned of nine miles (14.5km) in congestion, but the spillage was cleared and road reopened at about 10:20 GMT.
