Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious road traffic collision in Bude

A pedestrian has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a car, police have said.

Emergency services were called at about 12:10 GMT on Thursday to Belle Vue in Bude, following a crash between a blue Honda Civic and a pedestrian.

A woman in her 80s sustained serious injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital.

The driver, also a woman in her 80s, was uninjured.

Devon and Cornwall Police has urged anyone with dashcam footage which may assist the investigation to get in contact.
