Cyclist seriously injured in crash dies in hospital

A cyclist who was seriously injured in a collision with a car last month has died in hospital.

The man was hurt on the Shepherds Hill Roundabout in Woodley, Berkshire, at about 16:45 BST on 29 August in the crash with a grey Hyundai i20.

A 24-year-old man from Slough was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving and has since been released on police bail.

Sgt Matthew Cadmore of Thames Valley Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit asked anyone who saw the incident or has relevant dashcam footage to get in touch.
