Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to after a 87-year-old woman's handbag was stolen when she fell over.
It happened in Hull on Nidderdale, near the junction with Airedale, at about 13:30 GMT on Tuesday, 21 January.
Humberside Police said a man riding a bike was thought to have tried to make it appear that he was trying to help her but then allegedly stole her handbag before fleeing along Nidderdale towards Holwell Road.
Det Insp Jason Gourley said it was not clear how the woman fell to the ground but "she may have been pushed".
"We are now in a position to release an image of a man we believe may be able to assist with our inquiries," he said.
"We would also continue to appeal for the two people we believe came to the aid of the woman who could be key witnesses to come forward."
