Estate agents managing the sale of a house featured on a hit Netflix series have said a £1.5m cash offer has been made by someone who is yet to visit the property.
The house in Symonds Yat, Herefordshire, is shown throughout the four series of Sex Education.
Owner Stuart Morgan said he was proud that so many people had recognised his home.
"It just feels like the end of a chapter," he said.
The 18th Century former salmon fishing lodge overlooks the River Wye, close to the Gloucestershire border.
Mr Morgan, who bought the property in 2002, said the house was prefabricated and displayed in the Ideal Homes Exhibition in the 1910s.
The lodge was then taken apart and brought to Herefordshire by train to be rebuilt.
He added that only the external part of the house was featured in Sex Education, including the deck and front door.
Estate agent James Toogood oversees the Knight Frank branch in Bristol and is managing the sale of the property.
He said the house went up for sale last week and had generated interest from a wide range of buyers.
"There will be people from further afield that may well have that desire to own a property that is associated with a programme," he said.
