An 80-year-old woman and an 82-year-old man have been left seriously injured following a two-vehicle crash in East Yorkshire.
Humberside Police said officers had been called to the collision, involving a red Mercedes and a van, on the B1230, at the junction of Brick Dike Lane, in Rowley at about 15:40 GMT on Friday.
The woman and man, the driver and passenger respectively of the Mercedes, were taken to hospital after suffering serious injuries.
A 64 year-old woman, the van driver, was also treated in hospital for minor injuries, police said.
The crash forced a number of roads nearby to shut but they have since reopened.
Officers have appealed for any witnesses, or those with CCTV or dashcam footage, to contact them.
