Police are appealing for witnesses following a sexual assault on a teenage girl at this summer's Y Not Festival in Derbyshire.

The force said the attack happened in front of a double decker bus selling fudge close to the main stage during The Kooks' set between 20:30 and 22:00 BST on Friday 2 August.

The suspect was described as having dark hair that was fluffy on top but short on the sides, tattoos all over his body and a Liverpudlian accent.

Officers said they wanted to speak to any witnesses, including a woman who spoke to the victim at the time and led her from the area.
