A lorry crashed into the side of a house in a village in the early hours of the morning.

Suffolk Police said the incident happened at about 02:30 GMT on Thursday in Sproughton, near Ipswich.

The village has been used as a diversion route while National Highways carried out overnight works on the A14 westbound.

The force said National Highways stopped its work and reopened the A14 to move traffic away from the area.
