Fire crews have been tackling a large fire in a Devon field for several hours.

Four fire engines have been sent to the blaze in a field of grass and woodland in Hennock, near Bovey Tracey.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was affecting an area of land that measured 150m x 150m (about 500ft x 500ft), which is bigger than a football pitch.

"Crews have been making steady progress using hose reel jets and beaters," it added.
