A woman has been arrested after a crash in which a man was killed.
Police were called to the junction of Dowbridge and Carr Lane in Kirkham at about 11:00 BST on Saturday after reports of a single-vehicle crash involving a white Peugeot Bipper van.
Paramedics tried to save the man, who was in his 40s, but he was pronounced dead at hospital.
The driver of the van, a 45-year-old woman from Stockport, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving while impaired through drink or drugs.
Lancashire Police Sgt Thomas Cooper-Malley said the investigation was continuing and asked anyone with information to contact the force.
