The A30 in Somerset remains closed in both directions following a single-vehicle crash.

Avon and Somerset Police said an articulated lorry left the road at about 23:20 GMT on Wednesday and the road has been shut to allow investigation work to be carried out.

The closure is between Chard and the A30 junction with the A303.

Police said nobody was injured in the incident.
