Murder arrests after man stabbed to death

Two people were arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead at a home in Hampshire.

The victim, in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the property in Arcaro Road in Picket Twenty, near Andover, after police were called to a report of a stabbing at about 20:40 GMT last Friday.

A 41-year-old man from Southampton was held on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.

A 21-year-old man initially arrested on suspicion of murder was released from custody and will face no further action.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary asked people with any information to contact officers.

It said its investigation is continuing and officers are still in the area.
