A motorcyclist has died after a crash with a car, which also left the driver injured.
The 59-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene on Greenhow Hill Road in Thruscross, near Harrogate, North Yorkshire police said.
The driver, a woman in her 30s, was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been released.
The crash, which involved a blue BMW 1200 bike and a grey BMW 116D car happened at about 18:40 BST on Wednesday.
Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch.
