Rush hour drivers have been warned of lengthy delays after a collision involving four cars on a motorway.

The anti-clockwise M25 was closed at the junction 17 Maple Cross Interchange, in Hertfordshire, at about 05:35 BST.

National Highways said seven miles (11km) of congestion built up before the road reopened at about 07:15.

"Please continue to allow extra journey time this morning," it posted on X, external.
