A teenager has appeared in court accused of child rape.

Choman Sameen, 18, is charged with two counts of raping a girl aged between 13 and 15 and two counts of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged between 13 and 15.

The charges relate to an alleged incident involving two victims in Barnsley on 20 August.

Mr Sameen, of Leeds, appeared at Sheffield Magistrates' Court on Friday. He was remanded in custody ahead of his next appearance at Sheffield Crown Court on 26 September.
