Help the Homeless Leicester will officially open its new centre on Friday to coincide with World Homeless Day.
The charity says it has been able to expand its services by 50% as a result of the move into the purpose-built space in Eldon Street.
Project manager Corrie Moulds said the building has made an incredible difference to the charity, which is now able to reach up to 250 people each month.
She added: "We now have the space to meet people where they are - whether that's with a hot meal, a safe conversation, or practical support into housing."

The new centre will open its doors officially on 10 October
Help the Homeless will hold its official opening event on Friday 10 October, but has been using the facility since June.
Since then, the charity says more than 500 people have used weekly Thursday Hub and foodbank sessions, which means it has supported between 900 and 1,050 people in 2025 so far.
Adam Smith, Complex Needs and Resettlement Lead at Help the Homeless, said: "Having the right facilities makes all the difference—it means we can build trust, respond quickly, and create a safe, stable environment for people to take steps toward recovery and resettlement."
Khalid Javed, CEO of Muslim Aid, which has supported the project, said: "We believe that collective action is the key to lasting change, and so are happy to partner wwith Help the Homeless Leicester, an organisation rooted in the heart of the community and deeply trusted by those it serves."
