Dashcam appeal after car and motorbike crash

Police have launched an appeal for dashcam footage following a serious crash involving a car and a motorcycle in Leicestershire.

Officers were called to the B4667 Ashby Road, close to the junction with Elizabeth Road, just after 14:00 BST on Friday.

The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital where he is continuing to receive treatment, said Leicestershire Police.

No arrests have been made in connection with the crash, the force added.

PC Ellise Timmins said: "Our inquiries into the circumstances of this incident are continuing and I'd like to speak to anyone who can help.

"I'm particularly keen to speak to any motorists with a dashcam or who saw the collision occur."
