A pedestrian was taken to hospital after being hit by a police car on an emergency call.

The collision happened on Isaac's Hill in Cleethorpes at around 02:00 BST on Sunday.

The person's injuries are not thought to be life threatening, Humberside Police said.

The force added that, in line with standard procedures, the incident had been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
