Witnesses sought after woman followed by motorist

A woman reported being followed by a car early on Sunday morning

Police are urging witnesses to come forward after a woman was followed by a man driving a car early on Sunday morning in Wiltshire.

The victim reported being approached by the driver of a dark grey Mercedes estate car, who pulled onto the kerb next to her twice.

Wiltshire Police is looking to speak to anyone who was in Bristol Road, Chippenham, at about 06:30 GMT on Sunday.

The driver was described as being in his mid 30s and had black hair, a black beard and round glasses.

Police have asked anyone who saw what took place, or who may have dashcam footage from the area at the time, to get in touch.
